Swinton Half Marathon 1979-2009

The Swinton Half Marathon is sadly no longer part of the racing calendar.
Concerns over the runners safety on several busy road junctions has lead to the race being dropped and replaced by the Swinton 10 Mile Road Race.
The Swinton Half Marathon was ran very successfully by the club for 31 years.
Helping to raise funds for both Royal Manchester Children’s hospital and St Ann's Hospice.
